HISTORIC SIGN POLE

Baine Building

6605 Hollywood Blvd.

The most elegant Spanish Revival building in the Hollywood Historic District was built in 1926 on the corner of Whitley Avenue. Designed by the architecture firm Gogerty & Wehl, it features delicate wrought iron balconies, deeply inset bull’s-eye windows, and a stylish tower. Of special note are the second-story windows, which appear stationary but can actually turn on a central pivot.
