HISTORIC SIGN POLE

Vogue Theatre

6675 Hollywood Blvd.

Opening on July 9, 1935, with Ladies Crave Excitement, the Vogue Theatre was designed by S. Charles Lee in the Streamline Moderne style and became a popular movie house on Hollywood Blvd. The Vogue Theatre operated for 66 years before closing in 2001. In the following years, the theatre was converted into a nightclub that hosted private events, exhibitions, and live performances. After the club closed, the location’s exterior and marquee sign were restored by Quentin Tarantino for his film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, released in 2019.
