SPONSOR A STAR REPAIR
Preserve Hollywood History, One Star at a Time
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, attracting millions of visitors each year who come to celebrate the legends of entertainment. However, decades of foot traffic, weather, and time take their toll on these historic terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. Our Repair a Star Program gives you the opportunity to help preserve this irreplaceable piece of cultural history by sponsoring the complete restoration of a single star.
How This Program Works
Many stars on the Walk of Fame develop hairline fractures over time from decades of foot traffic and environmental exposure. While these minor cracks don’t compromise the star’s structural integrity, they do affect its appearance.
Typically, the trust reserves complete star replacements for stars with major structural damage. However, this program allows you to sponsor a full repair of a star with minor damage—giving your favorite celebrity’s star a complete restoration it wouldn’t otherwise receive.
Become a Steward of Hollywood History
By participating in the Repair a Star Program, you’re not just fixing a sidewalk marker—you’re preserving the legacy of entertainment icons and maintaining a landmark that has become synonymous with achievement in film, television, music, radio, and theater.
Every repaired star ensures that visitors from around the world can continue to walk in the footsteps of legends.
